That the recommendations of the informal NHB Grants Panel, as set out in the Appendix to the Cabinet report be approved and adopted.

(b)          Reason(s) for Decision(s)

The grants proposed accord with the criteria set by the Council.  The initiative is designed to alleviate the impacts of housing growth on local communities.

(c)        Alternative Options Considered

Either not to approve the Grants Panel’s recommendations or to approve some or all in part.  Cabinet was however satisfied with the rationale applied by the Grants Panel.
